What is Biomch-L?

Biomch-L is an e-mail based discussion forum for biomechanics and human/animal movement science.  Biomch-L was founded in 1988 by Herman Woltring and Ton van den Bogert. Biomch-L is currently maintained by a team of moderators: Ton van den Bogert, Krystyna Gielo-Perczak, and Andreas Boehm.  You can contact the moderators at Biomch-L-request@nic.surfnet.nl.   Subscribers typically receive 1-5 postings per day and can browse and search the archives.  There are currently about 6000 subscribers.

How to subscribe:

Subscription to Biomch-L is free.  To subscribe, send an e-mail to LISTSERV@nic.surfnet.nl.  This e-mail should contain just one line with the subscribe request and your name and affiliation.  For example:

SUBSCRIBE BIOMCH-L Lisa Simpson (University of Springfield, USA)

How to post a message on Biomch-L:

Postings can only be submitted by subscribers. Before you post a message on Biomch-L, read the following pages:

Postings should be sent to Biomch-L@nic.surfnet.nl. One of the moderators will then review the contents.  You will be automatically notified when the posting is distributed to the subscribers.  Otherwise, the moderator will send suggestions for revision.  The moderators will not edit your posting.  If you receive no notification, or moderator's message within one day, contact Biomch-L-Request@nic.surfnet.nl.
