Biomch-L posting guidelines

Writing style

Please use an informal style, but remember that you are addressing 6000 people.  Some useful advice here .

To help subscribers sort their mail, please type a descriptive heading in the "Subject" line of your posting.  The list server software will distribute the posting with "Subject: [BIOMCH-L]" followed by your own subject line.

Do not start the posting with a note to the moderator ("please post this...").  Remember the moderator is unable to edit your submission.  They can only approve or not approve.

At the end of the posting, sign with your full name and location, including the institution or company that you work for.

What can be posted on Biomch-L:

• Scientific discussions
• Job announcements ( instructions )
• Conference announcements
• General news related to biomechanics
• Requests for help or information ( instructions ). 
• A summary of private replies to a posting.  Do not include correpondence that was meant to remain private.
• A public reply to a posting.  This is encouraged if the information is of general interest

Commercial advertising of products or services is not allowed.  However, companies may send a press release to the moderators .  The moderators will review the material and may post it to Biomch-L after editing.
