General
It is important to remember
that Biomch-L is a give-and-take forum. So please provide some interesting
background information about your project, and summarize what you already
have found elsewhere. This has several advantages:
- Your question will be more specific (e.g. "I found X and Y,
and I am still looking for Z", insteaf of "I am looking
for articles on the biomechanics of running"). The responses
will then be more specific and more useful to you.
- The "experts" will respect you and will be more likely
to respond to your question
- The other subscribers will find your posting interesting, and
will remain subscribed to Biomch-L. Without a large subscriber
base, calls for help are not effective.
Good places to look before you
post on Biomch-L are:
Categories
- Requests for literature references
- Requests for information on equipment or software
- Requests for copies of articles. These are accepted only if
you provide an explanation of why you were unable to obtain the article
from your own library
- Requests for contacts
- Other requests
